Translations: 3倍!Sun Shine!カーニバル！ by Sanbaka

In SMASH The PAINT!! album from Nijisanji, there is a Sanbaka original song, 3倍!Sun Shine!カーニバル！(Three fold! Sunshine! Carnival!). I attempted to translate it while also giving my own take/explanations breaking down the hints of how Sanbaka the song is. You can find the song on both Youtube and Spotify legally. For Japanese lyrics, you can refer to other sites such as this as I only provide romaji and translations, colorcoded (along with the breaking down).

The song itself is very bright and festive. The title,  3倍!Sun Shine!カーニバル！ (three fold! Sunshine! Carnival!), and carnival-y festive melody refer to the name of their unit, さんばかーにばる (Samba Carnival). Yes, although an obvious intended pun to 三馬鹿 (Three Idiots), Sanbaka さんばか is not "Three idiots" but is an abbreviation of Samba Carnival　さんばかーにばる. Ange specifically said Sanbaka should be written in Hiragana, to differentiate itself with an already existing unit (A unit named Sanbaka as Three Idiots/Three Stooges, written in kanji 三馬鹿, is a unit consist of Nijisanji ex-2nd generation, Yuuhi Riri, Fushimi Gaku, and Kenmochi Touya, which later renamed into Trigger トリガー). Inui said the name Samba Carnival has positive tone, meaning whenever it is the three of them together it will be bright and fun, just like carnival. Inui Toko 1st Live, "Who I Am" was held on December 10 2020 in Zepp Yokohama, with Inui Toko as main performer and guests Ange Katrina, Lize Helesta, Higuchi Kaede, and Hoshimachi Suisei (Hololive). Ange Zatsudan Summary Collection (4): Nov 26 to Dec 5 2020

Another Ange Zatsudan summary that I posted in Discord server and I pasted here. A major thing to note that will be in this post which I never touched in blog post: There is a twitcast from Mikoto-sama, a collab with Ange while they were having an outing in a cottage together. I have reasons why I do not put the full summary here, nor did I make it easily found out in the Discord server unless you searched for Mikoto-sama's name. In short, it was a quite spicy collab, where you can hear obviously drunk Ange and off-stream talk between Mikoto-sama and Ange.
