A summary for Lize Helesta's new year zatsudan.
Lize began with saying her schedule was hectic before new year and after new year she relaxed around, such as watching anime the listeners gave which she did not manage to watch before. She watched Majou no Tabitabi, saying she liked it but she couldn't quite grasp the fluctuating atmosphere of the anime. That said she said it was good. She also praised the Op? ED? of the anime, and did not realize it was the seiyuu until the listener told her, saying the voice was beautiful. When the comment told her her voice sound beautiful as well, it leads to the talk she said during her Niji3D zatsudan, how when she came back to visit her family back in October, her young relatives thought she was seiyuu that did Nezuko from Kimetsu no Yaiba, and Lize went like isn't it just "Nn! Nn!!" lol She said she was glad her voice was enough to get mistaken, though she also said she is nothing near seiyuu and just a Vliver. She touched her experience of meeting seiyuu, such as her show with Tamechan, and she said she is way below them, like they are just their foot level and cant even be compared, such are seiyuu.
a. Looking back at 2020 streams. The year began with her watching Tokyo MX where Ange narrated along with sanbaka, and had quite a lot of time resting in new year. There was then Winter bundle, where she got potato weapon shop game she found very fun, having Unrailed with Debi, Fubuki, and Nattori, etc etc. She was actually surprised at how she managed to pull off many of them, for example having both Koushien and i's (her unit with Deron and Mikoto-sama centering on covering Love Live songs) live during summer, and so on. btw when it comes to Arima Kinen horse racing bet where she lost 104000 yen, she said she was glad everyone thought that was amusing, else it was nothing but pain lol.
b. Inui solo live. During the shadow announcer training, Lize managed to say her lines without slipping at all and at first during the real time when she said her first line she did it perfectly and in work mode, however beside her Ange actually stumbled and stammered in her words and that threw off her work-mode and blew away all of her nervousness which made her laxed and then she, too, made mistakes in her lines being carried away. Lize said it was in itself a good thing, probably, as Inui behind them went all laughed and excited when they made mistakes in their lines. Lize said when she rewatched the live, as she did not look back during her dance, she just realized how much Ange lagged behind them all, making her more apart than she should have, and that amused Lize so much, she kept laughing at it. Ange also didnt manage to keep her balance at the bow at the end of their dance, though Lize tried to cover for Ange that saying it is indeed quite hard to stop right away from their movement and then just bowed, so there is that (though Lize did say Ange is physically clumsy). When being said like Ange she isn't that fit either, Lize was like, I have stamina, you know, I ran for 1 hour in ringfit before! lol.
c. About the flower in Inui's solo live. Lize said LizeAn color of red and blue is easier to find but to find Inui's brownish maroon color is hard, and the black carnation there looked just right, so they picked it. The ojisan who manned the place is so good at selling and really nice, they only said "we want a bouquet big enough you hold with both hands" and he went "we have the one the 7000-8000 yen one around this size.." and that time Lize and Ange did not have exact amount of money and gave 10000 yen, and right when they gave it, the seller went "Oh! if you round it up to 10000 yen, we then have this other type" in which they then went for that one, and when the ojisan seller was being told 'that is smooth selling' the ojisan went 'I didn't mean to...' and went really red, which Lize commented he was such a cute ojisan. Lize said she, too, sent flowers for Fuzichoco (her Mama) art exhibition and said, she never knew before how rewarding it is to send flowers to someone, seeing just how happy both Inui and Fuzichoco are receiving the flowers, and said that is the good thing of flower. She also said after all the things was over, Inui's tension was up and down, both up and both down and a roller coaster. With that flower in her hand, after the live she went "thank you so much for all this time" to everyone like she wanted to graduate, where everyone went "no no, dont graduate!!!" Lize also commented that by looking at Inui's solo live, she realize how much she doesn't have the capacity or not the type to, to deliver performance.
d. About Mario Kart Tournament. Lize was surprised at how much Tsukino Mito Iinchou grew (last year Iinchou managed to get past preliminaries while still using assist thanks to really good luck, but this time Iinchou managed to go past preliminaries with real skill by training hard and did not use assist). Lize said Iinchou's hours on playing Mario Kart reached 200 hours when even Lize only had like 100 hours. She also had time she was in the same train as Iinchou and even sending Iinchou LINE and standing in front of her but Iinchou was so absorbed playing with her Switch she did not realize Lize was there. In here, the comments went to say how that's actually eerie of her to just standing her looking at Iinchou like that and why didnt she say anything, which Lize was like "You normally say hello to your acquaintance when you meet in the train?!?! that is such a huge hurdle!!" in horror, in which the comment instead think just standing around watching is even creepier, though Lize also added she also felt bad if she disturbed Iinchou when she was so focused on it.
e. About Furen spending a night in her room for Mario Kart training during Christmas Eve. Lize said "Furen's hierarchy is obviously lower than Jill" (her pet). She said Furen just came and ate KFC, also tripping on Jill's petfood tray. Also no, she did not give Furen treats (lol). Lize said with Furen, she did not experience the usual 'reset' of emotional proximity. Usually when there are time gap between her last interaction with someone, her 'proximity gauge' with that person will deplete and she would start wondering if it is okay to act close to the person again after the time gap and so on and so forth, but with Furen, Furen actually came and strike conversation with her from time to time, which makes her "reset" did not happen and thus manage to keep the "emotional proximity gauge" maintained in a steady level and Lize felt grateful to Furen for that (saying is this the difference between her with someone having a good communication ability...). Lize commented that this is why "Friendship is a volatile compound" as friendship just started to vaporized as time goes if it aint having her friendship gauge (her confidence of being close with that someone) being filled again. Lize said with Sanbaka it is different, they interact frequently both in sanbaka group and personally to the two of them and in principle, Sanbaka is not part of that "volatile compound". "Sanbaka is not friendship, Sanbaka is sanbaka".
f. About NJU. Lize started to gush about Nijikuro and said Iinchou was amazing redoing Momokuro red's jump while also saying Momokuro Red is just have a too awesome physical fitness. She also think the zetsubou sensei one took her breath away for a different reason. For Ange's part where they sang Love is an Open Door, Lize laughed when the comment went "congrats for your marriage!" and went "here we go again!". She said they didnt get married and she isnt Ange's wive (lol), she also asked the listener to please stop making comments like 'your wive will get mad' especially when Ange is in collab with someone else, because she'd feel bad for both Ange and the guest who collab as probably it will be hard for them to know/react to it and those kind of comments also will not make anyone feel good or happy and will only make trouble to every liver at the time (it is fandom inside joke to call Lize Ange's "real wife", so these kind of comments usually directed to Lize, even when she wasn't present). She also would like to stress, for example in Sanbaka, to not comment "Lize/Ange are doing XXX" on Inui's stream and the likes, because it would only trouble others (and make the person mentioned felt displeased as well, since they will feel sorry such comment came up). In this opportunity, I guess, this is once again stress the importance of manner when watching Vtuber: Please do not mention the name of other Vtubers when the Vtuber streaming is not talking about that Vtuber. It will not make anyone happy, not the one getting commented on, nor the one mentioned (this has been mentioned numerous times). She said with this year changing to 2021, lets start anew and reevaluate, as Lize herself did to herself, so does Listeners. (and please dont think they dont read English comment so it is okay, it is not okay).
Other than that, Lize said i's only had like 3 hours of training before Snow Halation but she was sure they managed to pull it off better compared to i's first live in summer. She was afraid she sang the song wrong at the last chorus however. Lize said i's was the one that got her nervous the most, as she only needed to focus on singing well when she sang together with Ange and did not need to think much about anything else lol.
g. About "Desire Purification" project. Lize revealed that she was the organizer of the project and it was her first time to ever do any project that involved entire Nijisanji and also the staff. She asked to every member of Nijisanji (and also staff, even Tazumi Riku the CEO) about what are their desires that they wanted to purify in the coming of new year (In Japan buddhism, there is a rite where the temple would rang the bell of the temple 108 times to purify the desire with the 108th bell being rung after the new year arrived). Lize said that she contacted Iinchou at around October if she would be able to assist her at New Year's Eve as well as doing the watchalong for their Tokyo MX Lever Gacha New Year special (where both appeared). Lize said the staff and also her big sister's team really helped her throughout the project. She also found it to be an amazing opportunity as she managed to contact other livers she usually did not have contact with, such as Yamagami Karuta, and so on. She also received a lot of suggestion from Iinchou and she was proud to say that her expression in the thumbnail she used for the free stream talk today was created by Iinchou (although the thumbnail it self is separate).
h. About her objective in 2020. Lize said probably she had done everything she could and really did her best (such as getting more friends, which she believed she managed to do, as she also managed to talk to other she did not usually talk, even) and thus that left the only aim she did not manage to reach was "World Domination" lol (she then regretted even making it an objective lol). She also said she had already ate bugs before when she was in China (in 2019) so probably "eating absurd food" is also already out of the list.
i. LizeLulu. LizeLulu Link and LizeLulu Listen on Sunday had just revealed that they have new OP, ED, and theme songs, 3 songs, sung by Lize and Lulu. The archive will be available next week so please, listen to them! (LizeLulu Listen's OP and ED can be heard in LizeLulu radio, while LizeLulu Link theme song Link Link can be heard in Daitai Nijisanji Radio. Both of which can be accessed from official channel. The songs are damn cute so please do listen to them). Lize said the talk of CD release is also pending so please wait for them too. She said they had the composer with them during the recording and the composer said the setting was "A previous life where the world had been destroyed and only Lize and Lulu left and you were lovers" and Lize went what's up with that universe though???? Comments then went "so the world has gotten konlulu'd....". They also had the chance in LizeLulu for offsite recording where they went fishing for Japanese sea perch. Lize said she was surprised she didn't get sea sick because she had a childhood memory of her being sea sick, and she was afraid of the sea (Lize has phobia to shark) but since it was in Tokyo One Harbor, the view of the skycrapers and buildings kind of eased her fear during then. She also said Japanese sea perch tasted amazing, esp the tempura (she also ate sashimi of the freshly capture sea perch)
j. About what to do in 2021. Firstly, there is the Mahjong tournament at the 9th, where Lize felt it would be tough fighting Kanae, her mother (lol), in the group. She also said that now, what she had in mind, although it wasnt an objective of her own, is for Sanbaka to begin something together and they, even now, are working on towards it. She said she wanted an event, or show, be it "official or unofficial" in one way or another she would like to work towards it. Thus she would like to work hard for it, so that she can give 369% satisfaction for everyone, so please look forward to it. Also since "World domination" was last year's objective, then it is "Universe domination" this year lol.
Others: During Superchat reading, Lize said she really look up to how Iinchou play ukelele while singing and admired that, wondering if she should buy an acoustic guitar and start working towards it as it is kind of hard to just play electric guitar alone. Lize also started talking about how it is a little hard with acoustic guitar for people with small hand (Ange has said in numerous occasions how Lize's hand is cute and small). She do want to be able to, say, have herself playing guitar as accompaniment while Inui singing along.
